

Job Description
We are looking to hire a qualified daycare/preschool Director or Assistant Director to manage our day-to-day operations to establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children.
Responsibilities
:

Ensure that our facility is maintained and in compliance with laws and regulations
-
Communicate directly and effectively with parents and staff on a daily basis
-
Maintain an organized office space
-
Have a passion for the growth and development of the precious children in our care
-
Be completely dependable and have excellent references
-
Love to spend the day with the children in our center
-
Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures
-
Manage and oversee the billing process for each family
-
Ensure all of our staff are up to date on their training and all agency, state and local requirements
Requirements
-
Be at least 18 yrs old
-
Pass extensive background checks
-
Complete pre-service training hours
-
Have at least a year of experience in childcare, as a secretary or in a HR position that required paperwork to be filed and be organized

Be as energetic as you can possibly be on a daily basis
-
Have your DCF 45 hours or be willing to complete them as soon as possible
-
Be willing to complete your Staff Credential as soon as possible
-
Be willing to complete your Director Credentials as soon as possible
-
Be willing to continue your childhood education to increase your ability to help our children and teachers
-
Be able to manage and multitask on a daily basis
-
Be willing to work extra hours to ensure our Center is up to compliance
-
Be willing to continue learning new job tasks as required by our Center

Be willing to always look in ways our team can improve and become the best in Lakeland

Job Description
We are looking for a committed Teacher who would like to become part of our LFA team. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process. The goal is to help cultivate the students’ interest in education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development.
Responsibilities
:

Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning

Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning

Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)

Assess and record students’ progress
-
Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom

Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
-
Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
-
Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.

Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
Requirements

Be at least 18 yrs old

Proven experience as a teacher

Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures
